Your Path to Growth
Initiating therapy for your child or family is a major step. It is completely normal to feel uncertain about the process or how to find the right clinical fit. I strive to make getting started as transparent, collaborative, and clear as possible, ensuring you feel fully informed at every stage of the journey.
Free Consultation Call
Getting started is simple — the first step is scheduling a free consultation call. Over the course of 15 minutes, we'll talk through the concerns for which you’re seeking services and whether my expertise is a good match for your needs. I encourage you to ask me anything about my approach or practice — finding the right fit matters. If it feels like a good match for both of us, we'll move forward by scheduling an intake appointment.
If I'm not the right therapist for you or your child, I won't leave you without options. I'm happy to offer referrals to help connect you with someone whose expertise better fits your concerns.
Initial Intake Appointment
During our initial intake appointment (90–110 minutes), I will:
- • Gather a thorough history and develop an understanding of what you or your child are experiencing
- • Explore what you're hoping to achieve through treatment
- • Share my initial impressions and ideas for how we can work together to help you move forward and start feeling better
Weekly Therapy Sessions
Following the intake, I generally meet with clients weekly for 45–50 minute sessions. The consistency of weekly sessions helps build momentum and allows you to notice and feel real progress along the way.
Bringing Treatment to a Close
As you grow more confident in your skills and begin to experience meaningful improvement, we'll talk about tapering the frequency of sessions or bringing treatment to a close.
