Your Path to Growth

Initiating therapy for your child or family is a major step. It is completely normal to feel uncertain about the process or how to find the right clinical fit. I strive to make getting started as transparent, collaborative, and clear as possible, ensuring you feel fully informed at every stage of the journey.

1

Free Consultation Call

Getting started is simple — the first step is scheduling a free consultation call. Over the course of 15 minutes, we'll discuss your concerns, see if my expertise is a good match, and you're welcome to ask me anything about how I work. If it feels like a good match for both of us, we'll move forward by scheduling an intake appointment.

If I'm not the right person for you or your child, I won't leave you without a next step. I'm happy to offer referrals to connect you with someone whose expertise is a better match.

2

Initial Intake Appointment

During our initial intake appointment (90–110 minutes), I will:

  • Gather a thorough history and develop an understanding of what you or your child are experiencing
  • Learn what you're hoping to get out of treatment and what progress looks like for you
  • Share my early impressions and outline a potential path toward feeling better
3

Weekly Therapy Sessions

Following the intake, I generally meet with clients for 45–50 minute sessions. The consistency of weekly sessions creates a steady rhythm that gives you the chance to see and feel real change along the way.

4

Bringing Treatment to a Close

As you grow more confident in your skills and begin to experience meaningful improvement, we'll talk about tapering the frequency of sessions or bringing treatment to a close.
